Tim Rotolo is the Managing Member of Lloyd Harbor Capital Management, LLC. Tim leads the investment process and is responsible for all activities of the company. Prior to founding Lloyd Harbor, Tim was a Vice President at Sandalwood Securities, Inc. a $1.25 billion fund of hedge funds focused on distressed, credit and event-driven strategies. Tim was a member of Sandalwood Securities' research team and Investment Committee. As such, he played a key role in various aspects of Sandalwood's research on distressed, credit and event driven strategies. His main focus was the day-to-day management of the Sandalwood Opportunity Fund which focused on alternative credit strategies such as middle market high yield, asset backed securities and novel long/short credit strategies. During his time overseeing the fund it grew from $20 million to over $250 million and was ranked in the top quartile of it’s peer universe.
Prior to joining Sandalwood in February 2009, he worked in the Merrill Lynch's Private Banking and Investment Group. Tim received his BA from Tufts University and is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst.
